Emma is a Chartered and Registered Psychologist with over 25 years experience, providing guests a nurturing opportunity to enhance and improve your mental wellbeing.

 

Offering a compassionate approach with a commitment to hope, Emma works with guests to identify their needs/ goals and then offers a safe therapeutic relationship in which to develop understanding, support positive change and "unfurl" from any life events which may have impacted on your mental and physical health.

Reflecting the connection between mind, body and nature, Emma's work is tailored to each individual, often combining techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDr, Ecotherapy and Somatic Psychology.

As well as programmes of therapy, Emma also offers "walk and talk" sessions within grounds at The Acorn - for those guests who wish to do a brief reset, recharge or refocus on a specific issue.
