Morrigan Medicine Retreat Day

Held at The Acorn Wellness Retreat @acornretreat in the peaceful Nidderdale countryside near Harrogate, Morrigan Medicine is a rose-themed retreat exploring The Morrigan as the Dark Goddess of Rose Medicine, as we approach the threshold of Samhain.

The Morrigan invites us into the deeper, darker and more mysterious dimensions of the rose, not simply its beauty and softness, but its thorns, its boundaries, its power and its capacity to transform. She calls us to face what has been hidden, reclaim what has been silenced and remember the wisdom that can emerge through endings, descent and change.

Working with the spectrum from blue rose to indigo rose, we journey from truth, voice and clarity into intuition, mystery, shadow and deeper knowing. The blue rose invites us to speak what is true and listen to what the body already knows. As we move into indigo, we enter the more mysterious realms of inner wisdom, imagination, divination and transformation.

Through Morrigan Medicine, we will explore sovereignty, courage, boundaries, voice and the wisdom of the Dark Feminine. As Samhain approaches, this is a time to honour what is ending, release what no longer belongs to us and create space for a different way of being to emerge.

Expect a nurturing yet powerful day of meditation, ceremonial cacao, guided reflection, embodied and restorative practices, voice activation, symbolic cord-cutting, divination and guided journeying. These practices offer contemplative and imaginative pathways into the deeper layers of body, nervous system, intuition and inner knowing.
