This therapy is a blended acupressure, energy massage, for the face, neck, shoulders, scalp and ears. Drawing upon oriental influences to restore balance within the body by releasing trapped, stagnant energy as well as claiming excessive energy. This gentle massage draws upon Eastern and Western philosophies and theories of yin and yang, the five elements and methods used in the West for health and self care to aid rebalancing, revitalisation and relaxation.

This treatment takes place lying down.

More About Sarah Y

Sarah is a highly qualified Complementary Therapist who has followed her heart, developing her skills and qualifications in massage and Reiki, leading her to be a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Degree Master Practitioner, teacher and she is also a Reiki Drum Practitioner.

Sarah’s passions include crystals, which she likes to use intuitively with her treatments whenever possible to enhance the benefits of her treatments in balancing your mind, body, soul and spirit.

Sarah has trained with the Harrogate Natural Health School to enhance her skills and treatments in cancer and palliative care. She has achieved NHS Certification in the Complementary Therapists to graduate at the NHS Natural Health School, Harrogate and District Foundation NHS Trust at Sir Robert Ogden’s Macmillian centre in Harrogate.

Sarah loves to share her passion for her signature treatment, Daoyin Tao, which is an energy massage using acupressure point massage alongside familiar western massage techniques.

Most recently Sarah has trained as a Somatic Shamanic Practitioner and is currently weaving her Shamanic practices into her offerings.

Sarah looks forward to welcoming you to the tranquil cocoon of the Acorn Wellness Retreat. She will bespoke your treatment to suit your needs and desires wherever possible.

Cancellations Policy

We understand that plans change, so when you’ve booked with us, we offer a 48 hour cancellation requirement. If you cancel 48 hours before your appointment by contacting a member of our team, you can book an alternative day/event. With less than 48 notice, we are unable to offer a refund.
